Volunteer at TMS

Volunteers are essential to the success of Tumwater Middle School. Opportunities can include everything from Art Lit, chaperoning, cafeteria support, OBOB, picture day, student socials, 8th grade celebration & more.

New for 2024-25 School Year: Over the summer, BSD implemented Raptor, which is a new visitor/volunteer management system. As a result ALL volunteers must REAPPLY to volunteer in the Beaverton School District.

STEP ONE: APPLY TO BE A VOLUNTEER

Start on the Volunteer webpage on the district website. The entire process — including the review of the Child Abuse Prevention & Reporting and Adult Sexual Misconduct training materials — should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

STEP TWO: FIND OPPORTUNITIES

Currently we are posting all volunteer opportunities in the Raptor System. To access the Raptor System online, you will need to click on the link provided in the email from donotreply@raptortech.com, which confirmed your account had been created. The email subject line is “Raptor System Account Created”.
