Rising Tides is the only PTO-backed fundraiser of the year… Help us make it count!

At Tumwater Middle School, the bulk of the school year’s programming and enhancements to our students’ experiences is funded at the beginning of the school year through our Rising Tides fundraiser. That means a one-and-done approach for parents and families — no bake sales, no jog-a-thons, no auctions or galas.

YOU donate one time at the start of the school year. WE take your generous contributions and turn them into enriching benefits for all TMS kids.

Through your generous donations, we intend to fund the following:

• Academic enrichment: Our PTO programs are open to every student at Tumwater, from Art Lit to OBOB. The bulk of our proposed budget supports our Community Grant program, where Tumwater PTO funds innovative and hands-on learning, making some of the dreams our teachers have for our kids a reality.

• Student experiences: As we move forward, we hope to provide positive & unique experiences to our student body, including semester-end student socials, grade-level experiences, and compelling student assemblies.

• Family events: Engaging as a community is a priority. As a new middle school, our event traditions continue to be forged. We look forward to working with Tumwater staff to support annual TMS events, such as welcome coffees, Science Fair and other community-based experiences.

• Community support: Tumwater PTO will always support BSD’s Clothes for Kids, as well as our staff appreciation efforts.

Suggested Donation

Any amount donated is gratefully received. Our financial goals focus around the collective efforts and involvement of our community. For those looking for more direction, we suggest an initial donation of $100-$150 per student, if that’s a reasonable possibility for your family.

We humbly ask that families donate as generously as possible, as early as possible. Every dollar helps our effort.
